Specialized chiropractic for the whole family

We want every member of your family to feel welcome and cared for at Rooted Chiropractic Club. As pediatric specialists, our office is family friendly - we love having babies and kids in the office. Chiropractic is truly about helping the nervous system develop and function at its best. When your family comes to get checked at Rooted Chiropractic Club, we will assess every vertebra in your spine to be sure that everything is moving and functioning the way it should. Utilizing the chiropractic technique that is best for your body, we will adjust what needs to be adjusted, and leave all the healthy bones alone. We recognize that every human being is unique, and your care should be unique to you!

Techniques we specialize in include:

  • Thompson Drop Table Technique

  • Prenatal Chiropractic Care/Webster Technique

Meet the Rooted Family!

Dr. Alison Pulitano, DC, CACCP

Dr. Alison graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2018 from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California, where she finished her clinical requirements a quarter early and with honors. She went on to preceptor under, and then officially work for, one of the top pediatric and prenatal chiropractors in California for two years. Dr. Alison holds two important certifications through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA): a certification in the Webster Technique (the chiropractic technique designed specifically for pregnancy) and the CACCP certification (denoting a chiropractic specifically in pediatrics). After a significant injury at just 10 years old she knew that, when she grew up, she wanted to help people do whatever it was that made them "tick"...truly help them to live their best lives. That idea sent her down a path of Pre-Physical Therapy in undergrad, pursuing massage therapy and midwifery upon graduation, and finally finding her way to chiropractic. Dr. Alison believes that every human deserves chiropractic care, and that the world would truly be a happier and healthier place if everyone got adjusted regularly :) Her passion is working with whole families to help everyone’s nervous system function optimally. When not in the office, Dr. Alison loves spending time outside with her husband (Dr. Joe), their two kids Maya and Skylar, and their two dogs.

Dr. Joseph Pulitano, DC

Dr. Joe graduated from Washington State University in 2015 with a B.S in Kinesiology and a minor in Psychology. He then attended Life Chiropractic College West, where he excelled through the program, and logged many extracurricular hours in sports chiropractic, working with athletes at every level to help them excel at their sport and limit injury. His chiropractic journey continued in Boise, ID where he discovered a passion for pediatric, perinatal, and whole family chiropractic care. He acquired a certification in Webster’s Technique (the chiropractic technique specific to pregnancy), and has completed continued education in specialized extremity chiropractic and pediatric care. Dr. Joe is happiest when he is doing anything outdoors with his 2 dogs (Borghi and Brea) and 2 beautiful kids (Skylar and Maya).

Dr. Joe and Dr. Alison fell in love with Coeur d’Alene and the community through many trips to the area, and decided to move officially in 2022. They are excited to be raising their children there, and hope to empower the community to be healthy and active for years to come.

What does the CACCP mean?

The CACCP, or Certification by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics, is a certification through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) providing specialty training in pediatric chiropractic care. The program consists of 200 hours of post-doctorate training designed to expand professional ability in adjusting techniques, evaluation, and assessment of different stages of development: from pregnancy, birth, infancy, and throughout childhood. The courses are packed with the latest research to contribute to a culture of evidence-informed practice.
